Brian Dansby, Semi Pro ASA/IBO, Wild hog, Georgia. Myself and Brooks Pigg (yes his name is Pigg and he loves hog
hunting... plus he is a cop... You can't make these things up!!) sat in the Georgia heat for about two hours. Just at last
light a group of nine pigs came through. For once the wind actually switched and HELPED us rather than hurt us.
After a 17 yard shot the boar ran only about 40 yards before piling up.
Equipment used: Mathews Monster, Mathews Down Force rest, CBE Sniper sight, Scott Silverhorn release, Victory
VForce arrow, Steelforce Phathead 145 broadhead, Sniper Hawglite light (didn't have to turn it on).

Darin, who competes as a Semi Pro in ASA events says, "I was shocked to see a deer of this caliber on his feet this
late in the morning on a day when the high temperature was supposed to be 90 degrees. He came in and gave me
a 15 yard shot. I put it right behind his shoulder. It exited a little further back. He ran about 125 yards I think. He
has short main beams (21 inches) and his gross score is about 144. He will net about 141 inches and his field
dressed weight was 193 lbs. His teeth indicated he was probably 4.5 years old. I managed to self-film and get the
harvest on video."
Bow: Elite GT500
Broadhead: 100 grain Slick Trick
Arrow:Victory VForce
"While video taping a small buck chase 3 does across a field I noticed movement behind my tree. I wasn't sure if it was the 140 class
that I had passed on the eve before but I readied for the shot anyway. There was no mistaking that this was a different deer, however, I
almost passed on him. His body was so big that his antlers looked small. I made some noise trying to draw on him at 15 yards and he
busted me. We had a staring contest for 5 minutes. He quartered slightly away during his attempt to exit and my arrow found its mark.
He ran only 50 yards before piling up... We were hunting on private land and the best part is that I self videoed this hunt. "
Mike from Pennsylvania competes in Semi-Pro at ASA shoots.

Dan Chaffin of Oklahoma
took his largest buck to date
on November 14, 2010 in
Wagoner County, Oklahoma.
The buck, a 16 pointer that
Dan had on trail camera all
through September but which
went nocturnal just before the
season began. After hunting
the buck every evening Dan
finally sealed the deal 15
minutes before darkness on
the 14th. Men's Open Pro
shooter Art Brown grossed
scored the buck at 157" gross
and 143" net score. Dan has
also scored on an excellent ten
pointer opening day of the
2010 season. "2010 has been
darn well for me," Chaffin
said. Dan competes in Senior
Open class on the ASA Trail.

Kicking off 2011 with my Biggest Pig Yet. Just because tournament season has started doesn't mean you
can't keep sending in those hunting pictures. Send me you archery taken turkeys, pigs and what ever
else may be in season. Todd, is this short bus proof?
February 23, 2011 Georgia Pig
I had some guys in hunting so I went to a spot
that had not been getting alot of pictures of
pigs.... didn't want to booger up a good spot.
Well low and behold Mr. Big comes in and
offered a LOOONGGGG shot... about 4 steps
from the base of the tree. When I left I checked
the camera and the same boar had been in
there 2 days earlier at almost the same time. Oh
well I never said I was much of a guide!!
